What do we predict will happen with the cloud in 2020?
- Going Serverless
Going serverless or Function as a Service (FaaS) would allow applications to run normally but not require the underlying infrastructure. There will still be servers since they are essential! But we think that there will be added flexibility with running applications.
- Hybrid
We are already seeing a combination of on-premise and cloud software usage and think that more and more businesses will make switches to the cloud. Software as a Service (SaaS) is what the cloud does, and it is growing in popularity, especially with the pay as you go feature.
- Artificial Intelligence
These words might be trendy for the times, but artificial intelligence is on the rise. It would make sense for a union between artificial intelligence and the cloud.
